#4 - deathly afraid of this one

not even sure i can write this one right now. it made a huge difference in my career path, and i totally changed what/how i wanted to approach my career after working for this american man for several months.

and i'm not sure if i want to tell everything, here, yet. i've only recently told some of my closest friends about it, but, other ladies who were on the show with me had similar experiences, and one other person had a way worse experience then all of us. and because we all felt she was in a position to say something, we all felt we could say nothing, because even she felt like she could say nothing, nothing would change, nothing would happen.

thank you to all the Canadian, US & humans worldwide, who are coming out with their tales of abuse from the film industry.

it's not all glided hookers, cocaine and bags of money.

most of the time it's actually super stressed out people being forced to spend a lot more time with their co-workers then most people do.

unfortunately, absolute power corrupts.

i will get back to #4 at a another point. may have to work on my post for #5, and schedule it to post tomorrow.

the fucked thing is, not sure how many of these posts i can do, like, in my head right now, there are at least over a dozen people who have been extremely inappropriate to me over the years. many happened when i was a Jr crew member, and i'm thankful now that it all didn't just ruin my spirit.

unfortunately? fortunately? i'm here to stay. and i'm not remaining silent any longer over the sub-par labour conditions working as an indie filmmaker in Ontario currently.
